What the hour buys
The chauffeur and the vehicle at your disposal from the first pickup to the last drop - waiting at every door, every stop the day needs, the route changed on the day, the coats in the car, the coolers in the back - with the fuel, the parking the chauffeur pays and the gratuity inside; the chauffeurs page has the standard the hour is bought against.

The minimum, and the half-hour
Three hours for the sedans, the SUV and the van, four for the Sprinter and the stretch, four to five for the bus; a booking released early is billed to the minimum, a booking that runs long is billed in half-hour increments at the class's rate, and the clock runs from the first pickup to the last drop; a booking outside the city adds the run to and from the city's edge, which the desk states.
When the hour beats two fares
A day with three or more stops - the hospital's clinic, the pharmacy and the specialist; the wedding's getting-ready address, the church, the photographs and the reception; the Niagara day's five stops; the light tour's seven - is the hour; a night where the car must wait through a play or a game is the hour; and the desk's rule is stops or waiting, the hour. The Knights article has the game's version.
When two fares beat the hour
A dinner with the drop at 7 and the pickup at 10 by text is two in-city fares at $40-60 - $80-120 - against three hours at $95-115; a Pearson departure is one fare; a concert with the corner at the encore is two; the desk says which is cheaper for the evening described and the concert article has the night.
The corporate day, by the hour
The business sedan at $95-115 from the office at 7:30 to the Toronto tower, the Mississauga plant and the Yorkville dinner and home at 10 - twelve and a half hours at $105 is $1,313 plus HST - on the corporate account with one invoice; the Toronto article has the day.
The wedding, by the hour
The stretch at $150-220 for five hours, the Sprinter at $145-175 for four, the SUV's two fares and the sedan's exit; the wedding costs article prices three weddings line by line, and the four-hour minimum on a Saturday is the partner fleet's.
The wine day and the night out, by the hour
The SUV at $115-135 for the Bellamere afternoon's five hours, the Sprinter at $145-175 for the Essex day's eleven, the bus at $190-290 for the Row's six; the Bellamere article and the party bus article have the days and the per-head sums.
The hour outside the city
A Niagara day, a Stratford evening or a Muskoka run by the hour counts the driving hours in the clock, and a long run is quoted from the class's hourly rate both ways; the Niagara article has the thirteen-hour day and the Ottawa and Montreal article the quote's arithmetic.
The market's hourly figures, honestly
The London market's stretch and party bus operators publish hourly rates in the same bands with their own minimums, a fuel surcharge on some and a gratuity added on most; the desk's figures include the gratuity and add nothing at the door, and the best limo service article says how to read a competitor's quote.
Three hourly bookings, as they went
A hospital day, a Byron patient, a Wednesday. The business sedan from 8 to 2:30 - University Hospital's clinic, the pharmacy, the specialist on Wellington Road - six and a half hours at $105, $683 plus HST.
A Stratford evening, an Old North couple, a Saturday in July. The luxury sedan from 5 to 11:45, six and three-quarter hours at $150, $1,013 plus HST.
A bachelorette, sixteen, a Saturday in June. The sixteen-passenger bus from 7 to 1:30, six and a half hours at $200, $1,300 plus HST, $81 a head.
Booking it
The hourly day is one email or call to the desk with the date, the hours, the stops and the vehicle; a written quote follows the same day; the hourly page has the service and the rates page the table.
Three questions the desk is asked about the hour
Does the clock stop while we are inside? No - the hour runs from the first pickup to the last drop, and the chauffeur waits; that is what the hour buys.
Can we extend on the day? Yes - by the organiser's word to the chauffeur, in half-hour increments, if the chauffeur's hours and the fleet's next booking allow; the desk says at booking whether the vehicle is free past the end.
Is the hour cheaper on a weekday? The rate is the same; the availability is better, and a weekday stretch is easier to book than a June Saturday's. The FAQ has the rest.

The honest summary
Eight classes from $95 to $290 an hour with three-to-five-hour minimums and the gratuity inside, the hour for stops and waiting and two fares for a drop and a pickup; the hourly page has the service and the rates page the table.
A worked example: the hour against two fares, twice
A Byron couple's Saturday: dinner on the Row at 7 with the pickup by text at 9:45 - two in-city fares at $52, $104 - and the following Saturday the Grand's opening night with dinner before, the sedan waiting through the play and the coats in it - the luxury sedan's four and a half hours at $150, $675; the desk priced both ways for each evening and the couple chose two fares for the dinner and the hour for the theatre, which is the desk's own rule. The concert article has the theatre's night.
The desk's rule of thumb
Stops or waiting, the hour; a drop and a pickup, two fares; the class by the passengers and the bags; the minimum stated before the card; the half-hour beyond; and the driving hours in an out-of-town day's clock. The rates page has the table.
Booking it, in one line
The hourly day is one email or call to the desk with the date, the hours, the stops and the class; the written quote comes back the same day.
