Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is 190 km east of London, Ontario on Highway 401 - about two hours off-peak - and the airport from which most of the city's international and long-haul flights leave. It has two terminals a shuttle-train apart: Terminal 1 for Air Canada, Star Alliance and most long-haul international carriers, Terminal 3 for WestJet, Porter, Sunwing, Air Transat and most US and non-alliance carriers. LondonLimo.net drops at the departures curb of the right terminal and, on arrival, meets you past the customs exit with a name board or at the designated commercial pickup lane, flight-tracked, with sixty minutes of wait included on international arrivals. The fixed rate from any London address is a planning figure of $295-345 plus HST for a business sedan; the London to Pearson page has the route and the rates in full. This page is the airport itself.
Terminal 1 or Terminal 3: which is yours
Getting the terminal wrong at Pearson costs twenty minutes and a train ride, so the chauffeur checks it against your airline when you book and again the night before. As a rule: Terminal 1 is Air Canada (all flights, including Rouge and Express), the Star Alliance carriers - United, Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian, Turkish, Air India, EVA, Air China, ANA, Ethiopian, Egyptair - plus Emirates, LATAM, Air France, KLM and a few others. Terminal 3 is WestJet, Porter, Sunwing, Air Transat, Flair, American, Delta, British Airways, Aer Lingus, Air Canada's partner Cathay Pacific, Etihad, Qatar, Icelandair, and the rest. Carriers move between terminals occasionally; the airport's site and your booking are the authority, and the chauffeur reads both.
| Terminal | Airlines, as a rule | Departures drop | Arrivals meeting point |
|---|---|---|---|
| Terminal 1 | Air Canada, Star Alliance, Emirates, Air France, KLM, LATAM | Departures level curb by your airline's check-in doors | Past the customs / arrivals exit on the arrivals level, or curbside at the commercial pickup lane |
| Terminal 3 | WestJet, Porter, Sunwing, Air Transat, Flair, American, Delta, British Airways, Qatar, Etihad | Departures level curb, doors by check-in | Arrivals level past the exit, or the commercial pickup lane |
Departures: the drop
The chauffeur takes the 401 to Highway 427 north and the airport road to the departures level of your terminal, pulls to the curb nearest your airline's check-in doors, unloads the bags to you or a porter, and is gone; the departures curb is for drop-offs only and the chauffeur does not linger. Pearson asks for two hours before a domestic flight and three before an international one at peak, and the chauffeur's pickup time in London is worked back from that plus the two-hour drive plus the buffer the season needs. For a 9 a.m. transatlantic departure that is a 4:30 pickup from London; for a 6 a.m. domestic flight it is 2:30, and the desk will say so plainly when you book.

Arrivals: the two meeting points
Meet and greet. The chauffeur waits inside the terminal past the customs and arrivals exit - at Terminal 1 in the arrivals hall on the ground level, at Terminal 3 past the exit doors into the public hall - holding a board with your name, and walks you and the bags to the vehicle in the commercial pickup area. Right for a first visit, a family, a parent, a guest you are hosting, and anyone who has just flown twelve hours. Curbside. You collect your bags, text the chauffeur, and walk out to the designated commercial pickup lane on the arrivals level; the chauffeur, waiting in the holding area Pearson provides for licensed vehicles, pulls in within minutes. Right for a frequent flyer with hand luggage. Both cost the same; the choice is a tick box when you book.
The commercial-vehicle rules
Pearson regulates commercial pickups: licensed limousines and chauffeured vehicles use designated lanes and a holding area, pay a per-trip access fee, and may not wait on the arrivals curb. Rideshare has its own zone with its own queue; taxis have the rank. Our chauffeurs hold the airport's commercial access, the fee is in the fixed rate, and the vehicle is in the lane when you walk out rather than circling. The rules are the airport's and change from time to time; the chauffeur is briefed on the current ones and you are told where to stand in the text you receive on landing.
Flight tracking and the included hour
Every arrival is tracked from its origin; the chauffeur leaves London for the actual landing, and sixty minutes of wait is included on an international arrival, thirty on a domestic one, from the landing time. At Terminal 1 on a summer evening the customs hall can take forty-five minutes and the bags another fifteen; the included hour is the honest figure. Beyond it, wait is charged in fifteen-minute blocks and it happens only when a bag is lost. Delays, diversions and cancellations are never charged; a flight cancelled on the day is rebooked without charge.
The 401 drive, and what it does at each hour
Off-peak, one hour fifty-five to Terminal 1 from downtown London: the 401 east through Woodstock and Cambridge, past Kitchener and Milton, then the 427 or, on a heavy morning, the 407 toll road from Milton to the 427, which is the chauffeur's call and in the rate. Weekday mornings into Pearson add fifteen to twenty minutes from Milton; Friday afternoons add thirty; Sunday evenings out of Pearson toward London are heavy until 8. Winter closures between London and Ingersoll are the wildcard, handled on the London to Pearson page and with Ontario 511 read before every departure.

Connections through Pearson from London
Londoners connect through Pearson two ways: the YXU flight into Terminal 1 with a same-terminal connection for Air Canada, or the chauffeured drive straight to the terminal the long flight leaves from. For an early morning international departure, the drive removes the connection and the second security queue; for a same-day return from Toronto, the flight is quicker. Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 is a two-minute automated train ride if your flights split across them.
US preclearance, customs and the walk
US-bound flights from both terminals clear US CBP preclearance before departure, which adds time to the check-in the chauffeur's pickup allows for. On return, Canadian customs at Pearson use the primary-inspection kiosks and, for some, CBSA's Advance Declaration app that shortens the hall; NEXUS holders have their own line. The walk from the gate to the exit can be fifteen minutes at Terminal 1's far piers, which is why the included hour matters.
Hotels, the airport strip and the Toronto connection
A late arrival that is not worth the drive home is a night at one of the airport hotels on Dixon Road or the Airport Corporate Centre and a chauffeur at 7 a.m.; the travel desk puts the room and the car on one file. Pearson to downtown Toronto for a meeting before the London run, or a Toronto day and Pearson on the way home, is on the Toronto page; Mississauga's office parks are ten minutes from the terminals.
Groups at Pearson
A Sprinter for fourteen at a planning figure of $545-645 one way is the group's answer to Pearson: a team, a family reunion, a wedding party heading to a destination wedding, a Western department flying to a conference, collected at one or two London addresses and dropped at one terminal. Coaches for larger groups, and the arrival waves for a conference at RBC Place, are on the group transportation page.
Accessibility at Pearson
Both terminals are step-free with accessible washrooms, and the airport's own assistance service meets passengers who request it through their airline; the chauffeur waits at the exit the assistance staff use and an accessible vehicle is arranged with notice through our partners. Tell the desk when booking and the meeting point is set for it.
The honest alternatives from London
The shared shuttle from London to Pearson is cheaper for one person with one bag and a flexible morning; VIA Rail to Union and the UP Express to Terminal 1 is a pleasant combination for a daytime departure with no luggage; parking at Pearson for a week costs more than the chauffeured fare each way. The comparison guide does the arithmetic honestly, including when the shuttle is the right choice.
Three Pearson pickups, as they actually run
Terminal 1, a family from Delhi, Saturday. A meet and greet past the international exit at 5:50 p.m. for a flight that landed at 5:05; the customs hall took forty minutes; the SUV was in the lane by 6:05; home in Masonville by 8:15. The included hour covered it.
Terminal 3, an executive from Calgary, Thursday. Curbside: a text at 10:12 p.m. from the carousel, the sedan in the lane at 10:16, home in Old South at 12:10. On the corporate account.
Terminal 1 departure, a student to Vancouver, April. A sedan from a Western residence at 4:30 a.m. for a 7:45 domestic departure, three cases and a bike box; at the counter by 6:35.
Planning figures. Rates are LondonLimo.net planning ranges before HST; the engine quotes the exact address, date and vehicle. Terminal assignments change occasionally and the airport's site and your booking are the authority. Airport and airline names describe where we drive and imply no affiliation.
The airport's geography, for the passenger
Pearson occupies the northwest corner of Mississauga at the junction of the 401, the 427 and the 409, with Terminal 1 on the east side of the field and Terminal 3 on the west, linked by the automated LINK train that also serves the Viscount parking and the hotel shuttle stop. Arrivals are on the ground level of each terminal and departures on the level above; the commercial pickup lanes are on the arrivals level outside the doors. The UP Express station is at Terminal 1. Once you know the terminal, the rest is signposted well; the text you receive on landing tells you which door.
Lost bags, oversized items and the things that slow an arrival
A lost bag means a claim at the airline's baggage desk in the hall before the exit, which can take twenty minutes; the chauffeur waits, and time beyond the included hour is the only wait ever charged. Oversized items - skis, golf clubs, bicycles, instruments - come out at the oversize belt beside the main carousels and take longer; tell the desk when booking and the SUV or the van is sent. Strollers and car seats are gate-checked and appear with the oversize items; car seats are fitted in the vehicle before the pickup if you tell us the ages.
Pearson for a group, a team or a conference
Arrival banks for a conference at RBC Place are met at Pearson with coaches timed to the flights and Sprinters for the speakers; a sports team off a charter uses the FBO side; a wedding party flying to a destination wedding fills a Sprinter from one London address. The group transportation page describes the manifest and the lead chauffeur; the private jet and FBO page the general-aviation side.
Corporate travellers and the assistant's checklist
Flight number, terminal, the traveller's mobile, the London address and whether the pickup is a meet and greet or curbside: with those five things on the corporate account the assistant books a Pearson arrival in a minute, the traveller receives the chauffeur's details the evening before and a text on landing, and the host is told when the traveller is in the car. The corporate chauffeur service page describes the account; the London to Pearson page the rates.
