London, Ontario's hotels fall into five clusters, and the right one depends on the trip: the downtown executive hotels - the DoubleTree by Hilton on King Street and the Delta Hotels London Armouries on Dundas - for the RBC Place conference, the Canada Life Place night and the financial core; the boutique inns - the Idlewyld Inn in Old South and Windermere Manor by University Hospital - for the wedding, the convocation and the quiet stay; the Wellington Road cluster around the Lamplighter Inn near Victoria Hospital, Parkwood and the 401 for the hospital week and the road trip; the north cluster by Western and Masonville for the campus visit; and the airport and east-side hotels by the plants for the plant visit. LondonLimo.net meets the flight at YXU or Pearson with a name board and drops at the porte-cochere at a fixed rate; the travel desk books the room. This page is the hotels as the chauffeurs drive to them.
Choosing the cluster
A conference delegate wants the downtown towers, a walk to RBC Place and the restaurants, and a car only at the airport ends and for the plant visit. A wedding party wants the Idlewyld or the Delta with the ballroom and the photographs a short drive away. A family with a patient at Victoria Hospital wants Wellington Road, five minutes from the entrance, with a car for the daily run and the pharmacy. A convocation family wants the north cluster or Windermere Manor with the campus ten minutes away. A plant visitor wants the east side or the airport, with the plant gate fifteen minutes away and YXU five. The chauffeurs drive all five clusters daily, and the neighbourhoods page describes the ground around each.

The downtown executive hotels
The DoubleTree by Hilton London Ontario on King Street is the conference hotel beside RBC Place and a block from Canada Life Place and the market; the Delta Hotels by Marriott London Armouries on Dundas Street is the historic hotel built into the old armoury with the ballroom the weddings and galas use; the smaller downtown properties fill in the core. Both have a porte-cochere on the street the chauffeur pulls into, and both are a five-minute drive from the courthouse, City Hall and the financial core described on the government and business pages. A delegate's arrival from Pearson is met at Terminal 1 with a name board and delivered to the door two hours and ten minutes later.

The Idlewyld Inn and Windermere Manor
The Idlewyld Inn is a Victorian mansion on Grand Avenue in Old South, a boutique hotel and restaurant that hosts weddings, anniversary dinners and the executives who prefer a house to a tower, five minutes from downtown and a walk from Wortley Village; Windermere Manor is a country house on Windermere Road beside University Hospital and Western's north campus, a wedding and conference venue with rooms, where a visiting professor, a convocation family and a patient's family stay ten minutes from the campus gates and two from the hospital's doors. The wedding page covers the Idlewyld wedding; the universities page the Windermere convocation.
The Wellington Road cluster: the Lamplighter and the hospital hotels
The Lamplighter Inn and Conference Centre on Wellington Road South is the anchor of a cluster of hotels between Victoria Hospital, Parkwood Institute and the 401 interchange - the family hotels, the suites hotels and the road-trip hotels - that serve the hospital families, the tournament teams, the White Oaks Mall shoppers and the traveller breaking a 401 drive. A family with a patient at Victoria books a week's fixed-rate runs from the hotel to the hospital's entrance; the travel desk asks the hotels for their hospital rates.
The north cluster: Masonville and Western
The hotels around Masonville Place and Richmond Street north serve Western's visitors, University Hospital's families and the Sunningdale and Masonville neighbourhoods; a parents' weekend, a visiting speaker's stay, a Homecoming booking and a University Hospital family's week are the bookings, with the campus ten minutes away and downtown fifteen.
The airport and east-side hotels
The hotels near London International Airport and along Oxford Street East and Veterans Memorial Parkway serve the plant visitors to 3M, General Dynamics and Diamond Aircraft, the early-flight travellers and the Fanshawe visitors; a YXU run from any of them is a five-to-ten-minute fixed rate, and a plant gate is fifteen.

Extended stays: a hospital month, a project, a relocation
The suites hotels on Wellington Road and downtown take a family for a hospital month, a project team for a quarter, an executive relocating for a season; a household or corporate account holds the standing bookings - the hospital runs, the weekly Pearson flight home, the grocery run - and the travel desk negotiates the long-stay rate.
Arriving from YXU and from Pearson
From YXU, every hotel cluster is inside twenty-five minutes at a fixed rate under $70; the chauffeur meets the flight at the carousel with a name board and the car is at the curb. From Pearson, the run is two hours and ten minutes down the 401 at a planning figure of $295-345 for a sedan, with Wi-Fi and power aboard, and the airport pickup guide walks through the terminal meet. From Billy Bishop, Hamilton, Waterloo and Detroit, the airports hub has each.
Checking out: the run to the airport and the road
The morning run to YXU for an 6:40 departure leaves the downtown hotels at 5:20; the run to Pearson for a 10 a.m. international flight leaves at 5:30; the chauffeur is at the porte-cochere at the booked minute and the bags go in the trunk while the guest checks out. The airport limo page has the timing rules and the rates page the figures.
The hotels for weddings, galas and events
The Delta Armouries' ballroom, the DoubleTree's conference floors, the Idlewyld's dining room, Windermere Manor's grounds and the Lamplighter's halls host weddings, galas, awards dinners and conferences year-round; the wedding page, the corporate page and the venues page cover the transport for each, and the group transportation page the guest shuttle between a hotel and a venue.
Three hotel bookings, as they actually ran
A conference, October. Fourteen delegates from three flights at Pearson over an afternoon, met in turn with a name board, driven to the DoubleTree in three sedans and an SUV, and returned over two days; the conference's organiser held a corporate account and received one invoice.
A hospital week, January. A family from Goderich at a Wellington Road suites hotel: a sedan to Victoria Hospital's main entrance at 9 and back at 6 each day, the pharmacy on Wednesday, the grandmother collected at YXU on Thursday, and home on Sunday. Household account.
A wedding weekend, September. The couple's families at the Idlewyld and the Delta, the airport meets on Friday, the Saturday shuttle between the hotels and the venue by Sprinter, and the Sunday runs to YXU and Pearson. One file with the desk.
Booking it
An airport-to-hotel journey is priced on the reservation engine in seconds; a conference's arrivals, a hospital week or a wedding weekend is booked with the desk, which books the rooms through the travel desk as well.
Planning figures. Rates are LondonLimo.net planning ranges before HST; the engine quotes the exact hotel, date and vehicle. Hotel names describe where we drive and imply no affiliation; each hotel's own site publishes its rates, and the travel desk books rooms as an agent for the guest.
Three questions the desk is asked about hotel runs
Will the chauffeur wait if the flight is late? Yes - the flight is tracked and the chauffeur adjusts; waiting on a late flight is not charged, and the hotel is told of the new arrival time if the travel desk booked the room. Can the car stop for groceries or a pharmacy on the way to a suites hotel? Yes - a stop of fifteen minutes is included on a hotel run; longer errands are an hourly booking. Do you know the hotel's porte-cochere and the check-in procedure? Every hotel in the city; the chauffeur pulls to the door, the doorman or the chauffeur takes the bags, and the return is booked for the morning before the passenger leaves the car.
The hotel clusters from the car
King and York Streets' hotel towers beside the convention centre and the arena, the Delta's armoury turrets on Dundas, the Idlewyld's mansion behind its trees on Grand Avenue, Windermere Manor's drive off Windermere Road with the hospital's towers beyond, the Lamplighter's long frontage on Wellington Road with the hospital and the 401 either side of it, Masonville's hotels beside the mall, and the airport hotels along the runway's fence: the chauffeur knows each porte-cochere, each loading zone and each hotel's back entrance for the wedding party's photographs. Tourism London publishes the full list of the city's hotels.
Booking checklist for a hotel run
The flight number and terminal or the pickup address; the hotel and whether the room is booked; the number of passengers and bags; a grocery or pharmacy stop; the return run's date and time; the account, household or card; and a phone number for the "in the car" text. The desk confirms in one email and books the room through the travel desk if asked.
Visitors coming to London's hotels from the region
A Windsor or Sarnia family for a hospital week, a Kitchener company's team for a conference, a Toronto firm's litigators for a trial, a Stratford wedding's guests: the destinations hub prices the drive from each town to any London hotel, and the corporate and household accounts hold the week's runs.
The hotel and the conference organiser
A conference at RBC Place or a hotel's conference floor brings delegates on a dozen flights over an afternoon, and the organiser's corporate account turns the arrivals into a manifest: each delegate's flight, a name board at the terminal, a sedan or a shared SUV by arrival bank, the hotel, and the departures two days later, on one invoice with each delegate's name. The group transportation page describes the manifest.
The Hard Rock Hotel and 100 Kellogg Lane
Canada's first Hard Rock Hotel opened in April 2025 at 100 Kellogg Lane in the Old East Village, inside the converted Kellogg's factory that is now the country's largest indoor entertainment complex, minutes from the Western Fair District and eight from the core: 164 rooms and suites, an indoor-outdoor pool, valet parking, three bars and restaurants - Sessions, GMT-5 and the 1913 speakeasy - and the complex's attractions under the same roof. It is the most-searched hotel in the city and a sixth cluster of its own for the weekend visitor, the concert-goer and the family; the porte-cochere is on Kellogg Lane, YXU is twelve minutes and Pearson two hours, and the chauffeur knows the complex's loading zone on an event night.
