Weddings, proms & nights out · 2026-09-21 · 8-minute read
A prom limo in London, Ontario with LondonLimo.net is a stretch limousine for eight to ten or a party bus for sixteen to thirty through the partner fleet, booked by a parent on a May or June Saturday at $150-220 an hour for the stretch or $190-290 for the bus with a four-to-five-hour minimum, with the chauffeur enforcing the rules the parent gives - the addresses, the times, the passengers, no stops not on the list - and Ontario's law that nobody under nineteen drinks, without exception. The night runs from the driveway photographs at 5 to the school's venue at 7, the after-party at 11 if the parents allow it, and the door at 1; the prom and graduation page has the service, and this article is the night as it actually runs, for the parent who books it.
The booking, and who makes it
A parent books - the desk takes prom bookings from adults only, with the parent's card and the parent's rules - and the confirmation goes to the parent with the chauffeur's name and plate the evening before; the teenagers have the chauffeur's number for the pickup texts and the parent has the desk's for anything else. The prom page has the rules the desk applies.
| Prom night | Time | What happens | The chauffeur's rule |
|---|---|---|---|
| The driveway | 5:00 | Photographs at the first house; the group boards | The passengers named on the booking, and no others |
| The photograph stops | 5:30-6:30 | Western's University College and the concrete beach; the forks; Springbank's bridges | The stops on the parent's list |
| The dinner | 6:30 | A restaurant on the Row, if the group is dining out | The reservation the parent made |
| The venue | 7:15 | The school's venue - a hotel ballroom, RBC Place, a golf club, a hall | The drop at the door; the chauffeur released or waiting by the hour |
| The after-party | 11:00 | A house or a hall the parent approved | Only the address on the booking |
| Home | 1:00 | Each passenger to their own door | The parent texted at each drop |
The parents' rules, and how they are kept
The parent lists the passengers, the addresses, the stops and the end time on the booking, and the chauffeur keeps to the list: a friend not on the list does not board, a stop not on the list is not made, and an end time is an end time. A parent who wants a call from the chauffeur at each drop gets one; a parent who wants the group home at midnight rather than one gets that. The chauffeurs page describes the conduct code the chauffeur works under.

Ontario's law, without exception
Nobody under nineteen drinks in any vehicle, and the chauffeur enforces it: bags are not searched but a bottle seen is a bottle removed, and a passenger who is drunk when the car arrives is not carried. The stretch's and the bus's bar areas are for the wedding and the birthday, and on a prom night they hold water and pop; the AGCO sets the rules and the party bus page states them for the bus.
The fleet: the stretch and the bus
A stretch through the partner fleet carries eight to ten in gowns and suits with the lighting and the sound, at $150-220 an hour; a limo bus carries sixteen to thirty with perimeter seating, at $190-290; both are the partner fleet's vehicles under LondonLimo.net's dispatch and the published standard, and the fleet page says so. An executive SUV for six at $115-135 is the smaller group's answer.
The cost per head
A stretch for ten for five hours at $180 is $900 plus HST - $90 a head; a bus for twenty for five hours at $240 is $1,200 - $60 a head; an SUV for six for four hours at $125 is $500 - $83 a head. The parents split it as they choose and the desk takes one card; the rates page has the hourly figures.
The photograph stops
Western's University College tower and the concrete beach, the forks by Museum London, Springbank Park's bridges, Victoria Park's bandstand, the Old East Village's brick lanes: the group's stops are the parent's list, the chauffeur knows where the light is at 5:30 in June, and the attractions page has each.
The venues
The schools' proms are at the downtown hotels' ballrooms, RBC Place, the golf clubs' clubhouses, the Lamplighter's halls and the Western Fair's Carousel Room; the drop is at the venue's door at the time the school sets, the chauffeur is released for the evening or waits by the hour for a group with an after-party, and the venues page has the halls.
The after-party, and the parent's decision
An after-party at a parent-approved house or hall is a stop on the booking; one that is not on the booking is not a stop, and the chauffeur says so to the group and texts the parent. The end time is the parent's, the last drop is at each passenger's own door, and the parent is texted at each.
The May and June Saturdays
London's high schools' proms cluster on the Saturdays from mid-May to mid-June, the partner fleet's stretches and buses are finite, and a group that books in March has the vehicle it wants while a group that books in May is offered what is left; the events page has the season and the desk's honest advice is March.
The graduation ceremony, separately
The ceremony itself - at Canada Life Place, Alumni Hall or the school - is a different booking: an SUV for the grandparents and the family to the door and back, as the Canada Life Place article describes, and the prom page covers both nights.
Three prom nights, as they went
A stretch for ten, a Byron school, the first Saturday in June. The driveway at 5; University College and the forks; dinner on the Row; the DoubleTree's ballroom at 7:15; an approved after-party in Westmount at 11; the last door at 1. $900 plus HST; the parent texted at each drop.
A bus for twenty, a Masonville school, May. The driveway at 5:30; Springbank's bridges; a golf club at 7; no after-party by the parents' rule; home at 11:30. $1,150.
An SUV for six, a Lambeth school, June. The driveway at 5; the concrete beach; RBC Place at 7; released; a second SUV at midnight for the run home. Two bookings, $500 and $70.
Booking it
The prom is one email or call to the desk from a parent with the date, the school, the group, the addresses, the stops and the rules; a written quote follows; the prom page has the service and the fleet page the vehicles.
Three questions the parents ask
What if a passenger is drunk when the car arrives? The chauffeur does not carry them, calls the parent who booked, and the group leaves without them; the rule is the AGCO's and the desk's, and it is stated at booking so that no group is surprised at the driveway.
Can the group change the after-party address on the night? Only by the parent's call to the desk; a text from the group to the chauffeur is not a change, and the chauffeur says so kindly.
Can two families split one booking? Yes - one parent books and holds the card, the desk sends the confirmation to both, and the families settle between themselves; the FAQ has the rest.
The confirmation, in detail
The evening before, the parent receives the chauffeur's name, phone and plate, the vehicle's description, the pickup time and the list of passengers and stops as booked; the group receives the chauffeur's number only. The chauffeurs page has the conduct standard and the prom page the rules.
The driveway at 5
The chauffeur arrives fifteen minutes early, parks where the photographs work - the stretch's length across the driveway's mouth, the bus at the curb - and stands by the door while the parents photograph; the group boards at 5 sharp because the photograph stops need the light, and the attractions page has the stops.
The photograph stops, timed
University College's tower at 5:30 with the sun on its west face, the concrete beach at 5:45, the forks at 6:10 with the light on the river, and Victoria Park's bandstand at 6:25 if the dinner is on the Row; the chauffeur knows the light in June and the stops take fifteen minutes each. A group with a photographer books the stops on the hourly page's clock.
The venues' doors
The DoubleTree's Dundas porte-cochere, the Delta Armouries' Dundas door, RBC Place's York Street entrance, the golf clubs' loops, the Lamplighter's Wellington Road drive, the Western Fair's Carousel Room by the Dundas East grandstand: each takes the stretch, and the bus at RBC Place drops on York and waits on Talbot. The venues page has each.
The after-party's rule, in practice
A parent-approved house in Westmount, a hall the school has booked, a friend's cottage in Grand Bend that the parents have cleared: on the booking, a stop; not on the booking, not a stop. A parent who wants the group home straight from the venue books the end time as the venue's end, and the chauffeur drives home. The neighbourhoods page has the streets.
The per-head arithmetic, in detail
Ten in a stretch for five hours at $180 is $900 plus $117 HST, $102 a head with tax; twenty in a bus for five hours at $240 is $1,200 plus $156, $68 a head; six in an SUV for four hours at $125 is $500 plus $65, $94 a head. The rates page has the figures, and the gratuity is inside each.
The graduation week's other bookings
The ceremony at Canada Life Place or Alumni Hall for the grandparents in an SUV; the family's dinner on the Row that night; the graduate's Pearson run to a summer abroad the week after; a household account holds all three, and the Pearson page has the flight run.
Booking checklist for the parent
The date and the school; the passengers by name; the pickup address; the photograph stops; the dinner reservation if any; the venue and its time; the after-party address if approved; the end time; and the parent's card and phone. Nine lines to the desk and the confirmation comes back the same day.
The honest summary
A prom limo is a parent's booking with a parent's rules, a chauffeur who keeps them and a law the chauffeur enforces; the prom page has the service and the fleet page the stretch and the bus.
A worked example: the night that went to plan
A Masonville parent booked a stretch for ten for the first Saturday in June, listed the passengers, the driveway, University College and the forks, dinner on the Row, the DoubleTree's ballroom and an after-party at a named Westmount house with a 1 a.m. end; the confirmation arrived the evening before with the chauffeur's name and plate; the group boarded at 5, the parent was texted at each drop, and the last door closed at 12:55. $900 plus HST, and the prom page has the rules the chauffeur kept.
The desk's rule of thumb
A parent books; the passengers, the stops and the end time are on the booking; nobody under nineteen drinks; the chauffeur texts the parent at each drop; and March is the month to book for June. The fleet page has the stretch and the bus.
Booking it, in one line
