Black car in London · 2026-09-21 · 8-minute read
Hotels in London, Ontario fall into six clusters, and a visitor arriving by LondonLimo.net car from Pearson at $295-345 or YXU at $45-65 for a sedan is dropped at the right one's porte-cochere: the downtown executive hotels - the DoubleTree by Hilton and the Delta Armouries - for the conference and the arena; the boutique inns - the Idlewyld and Windermere Manor - for the wedding and the convocation; the Wellington Road cluster around the Lamplighter for the hospital week and the road trip; the north cluster by Western; the airport and east-side hotels by the plants; and the Hard Rock Hotel at Kellogg Lane for the weekend visitor. The hotels page has each cluster and the travel desk books the room; this article is the arrival and the choice.
The arrival from Pearson
Two hours and ten minutes from Terminal 1's arrivals hall to a downtown porte-cochere, with the chauffeur at the rail with a name board, the bags on a trolley and the 401 driven with Wi-Fi aboard; the Pearson to London article has the meet, and the doorman takes the bags at the hotel's door. From YXU, fifteen to twenty-five minutes to any cluster.

LondonLimo.net planning ranges before HST for a business sedan.
The conference delegate: downtown
The DoubleTree on King Street is beside RBC Place and a block from Canada Life Place and the market; the Delta Armouries on Dundas is the historic hotel with the ballroom; both are a walk from the convention centre and a five-minute drive from the courthouse and the financial core. A delegate's car is at the airport ends and for the plant visit; the venues page has RBC Place.

The wedding or convocation family: the inns
The Idlewyld's Victorian mansion on Grand Avenue in Old South and Windermere Manor's country house by University Hospital host the weddings and take the families, five and ten minutes from the campus; the wedding page and the Western convocation article have the days.
The hospital family: Wellington Road
The Lamplighter and the hotels around it are five minutes from Victoria Hospital's entrances and Parkwood, with hospital rates the travel desk asks for; a family's week is a household account with a daily run to the ward, and the hotels near the hospitals article has the cluster in detail.
The campus visitor: the north
The hotels around Masonville Place and Richmond Street north are ten minutes from Western's gates and two from University Hospital; a parents' weekend, a visiting speaker and a Homecoming alumnus stay here, and the universities page has the campus.
The plant visitor: the airport and the east side
The hotels by YXU and along Oxford Street East are fifteen minutes from 3M, General Dynamics and Diamond Aircraft and five from the terminal; a customer, an auditor or a delegation on a corporate account stays here, and the business page has the plants.
The weekend visitor: the Hard Rock
Canada's first Hard Rock Hotel opened in April 2025 at 100 Kellogg Lane in the Old East Village with 164 rooms, the stage, the pool and the Factory under the same roof; a couple for a concert, a family for the Factory and a group for the weekend stay here, and the Kellogg Lane article has the complex.
The long stay: the suites
A hospital month, a project quarter or a relocation season is a suites hotel on Wellington Road or downtown at a long-stay rate the travel desk negotiates, with a household or corporate account holding the standing runs - the hospital, the weekly Pearson flight, the grocery stop; the hotels page has the extended-stay properties.
Checking out: the run to the airport
The morning run to YXU for a 6:40 departure leaves the downtown hotels at 5:20; the run to Pearson for a 10 a.m. international flight leaves at 5:30; the chauffeur is at the porte-cochere at the booked minute and the bags go in while the guest checks out. The airport limo page has the timing rules.
Three arrivals, as they went
A conference delegate, Pearson to the DoubleTree. Met at Terminal 1 at 4:10 p.m.; the porte-cochere at 6:25; the return three days later at 2 p.m.
A convocation family, YXU to Windermere Manor. Met at the carousel at 9:40 p.m.; the manor's drive at 10:05; an SUV by the hour on the day.
A weekend couple, Pearson to the Hard Rock. Met at Terminal 3 at 3 p.m.; Kellogg Lane at 5:15; the Hard Rock's stage that night and the Factory on Saturday.
Booking it
The airport-to-hotel run is on the reservation engine in seconds; the room and the week are one email to the desk and the travel desk; the hotels page has every cluster.
Three questions the desk is asked about hotel runs
Will the chauffeur wait if the flight is late? Yes - the flight is tracked, the waiting on a late flight is not charged, and the hotel is told of the new arrival time when the travel desk booked the room. Can we stop for groceries on the way to a suites hotel? A fifteen-minute stop is inside the fare; the Wellington Road and Masonville supermarkets are the chauffeurs' usual. Do you know the hotel's porte-cochere? Every hotel in the city; the chauffeur pulls to the door and the return is booked for the morning before the passenger leaves the car.
The downtown cluster, in detail
The DoubleTree's tower on King Street over RBC Place and the arena, with the porte-cochere on King; the Delta Armouries' 1905 armoury on Dundas with the ballroom and the porte-cochere on Dundas; the smaller hotels in the core and the inns near the Row; all within a walk of the market, the Grand and the courthouse. The downtown hotels article has the arena night.
The inns, in detail
The Idlewyld Inn's Victorian mansion on Grand Avenue in Old South with its restaurant and its wedding lawn, a walk from Wortley Village; Windermere Manor's country house on Windermere Road beside University Hospital with its conference rooms and its grounds; each with a drive the chauffeur pulls into and a photograph spot the wedding party uses. The wedding page has the day.
Wellington Road, in detail
The Lamplighter Inn and Conference Centre with its halls and its pool, the family hotels along the strip with breakfast included, the suites hotels with kitchens, and the road-trip hotels at the 401 interchange; White Oaks Mall and the restaurants between them; Victoria Hospital and Parkwood five minutes north. The hotels near the hospitals article has the family's week.
The north, the airport and the east side, in detail
Masonville's hotels beside the mall and ten minutes from Western's gates; the airport hotels along the runway's fence five minutes from YXU's terminal; the Oxford Street East hotels fifteen minutes from the plants; and the Hard Rock at Kellogg Lane with the Factory under the roof. The neighbourhoods page has each area's drive times.
The conference organiser's manifest
A conference at RBC Place brings delegates on a dozen flights over an afternoon, and the organiser's corporate account turns them into a manifest - each delegate's flight, a name board, a sedan or a shared SUV by arrival bank, the hotel, and the departures two days later - on one invoice; the group transportation page describes it.
The hotel and the hospital rate, the conference rate, the long-stay rate
The travel desk asks each hotel for the rate that fits the trip - the hospital rate for a patient's family, the conference rate from the organiser's block, the long-stay rate for a month - and books the room as an agent for the guest on one file with the car; the travel desk page describes the service.
Booking checklist for a hotel run
The flight number and terminal or the pickup address; the hotel and whether the room is booked; the passengers and the bags; a grocery or pharmacy stop; the return run's date and time; the account, household or card; and a phone number for the "in the car" text. The reservation engine takes the run and the desk the room.
The Tourism London list, for the rest
Tourism London publishes the full list of the city's hotels with their addresses and amenities, and the desk reads it when a guest asks for a pool, a kitchen or a pet-friendly room; this article is the clusters as the chauffeurs drive to them, and the list is the inventory.
A worked example: the wedding weekend's hotels
The couple's families in the Idlewyld and the Delta, the guests from three countries in the DoubleTree and the Wellington Road hotels, the Friday meets at Pearson and YXU on a manifest, the Saturday shuttle between the hotels and the venue by Sprinter, and the Sunday runs to both airports; one file with the desk and the travel desk, and the wedding page has the day itself.
The hotel at the other end
A London traveller's night in Toronto before an early Pearson flight, in Niagara after a Buffalo arrival, in Stratford after the play or in Detroit after the game is the same travel-desk booking in reverse, and the destinations hub has each city's hotels as the chauffeurs drive to them.
Booking it, in one line
The reservation engine prices the airport-to-hotel run in seconds; the room, the manifest and the week are one email to the desk.
The desk's rule of thumb
Downtown for the conference and the arena; the inns for the wedding and the convocation; Wellington Road for the hospital; the north for the campus; the airport cluster for the plants; the Hard Rock for the weekend; the suites for the month. The rates page has the airport figures and the FAQ the questions guests ask.
The porte-cochere, and the doorman
Every hotel in the downtown, inn, Wellington Road and airport clusters has a covered drop where the chauffeur pulls in, and the DoubleTree, the Delta and the Hard Rock have a doorman or a bell desk that takes the bags from the trunk; the chauffeur hands them over, confirms the morning's pickup, and the guest walks to the desk with nothing to carry.
