Black car in London · 2026-09-21 · 8-minute read
Things to do in London, Ontario this weekend depend on the calendar - the Knights at Canada Life Place from September to the playoffs, the Grand Theatre's season from October to May, Sunfest, Home County, Rock the Park and Ribfest in Victoria Park and Harris Park in July and August, the Western Fair in September, the Christmas lights from December - and on the standing weekend: Covent Garden Market on Saturday morning, the Western Fair District's farmers' market, Wortley Village's brunch on Sunday, Kellogg Lane and the breweries, a Stratford matinee fifty minutes north or Port Stanley's beach forty-five minutes south. LondonLimo.net plans a weekend as fixed-rate journeys of $40-70 between the stops or as a day by the hour at $95-115 for a sedan, with the chauffeur knowing which streets the festival closes and where the return corner is; the events page has the calendar and Tourism London the exact dates, and this article is the weekend as the chauffeurs plan it.
Friday night

The venues page has each door, and a Friday evening is two fixed rates or four hours by the hour.

Saturday morning: the markets
Covent Garden Market's food hall and, in summer, the outdoor farmers' market in the square; the Western Fair District's farmers' and artisans' market on Dundas Street East; the Old East Village's cafes between them. The chauffeur drops at the market's King Street door at 9 and the family walks; a Saturday morning by the hour touches both markets and a brewery by noon, and the attractions page has the core.

Saturday afternoon: the parks, the hill and Kellogg Lane
Springbank Park and Storybook Gardens for the children, Boler Mountain's tubing in winter and its treetop course in summer, 100 Kellogg Lane's Factory for a rainy afternoon, and the breweries - Toboggan, Anderson, Forked River - for the adults; an SUV by the hour from lunch to dinner, and the things to do article has the full day.
Saturday evening: the Village, the Row and the festivals
Wortley Village's restaurants for dinner in the country's favourite neighbourhood; Richmond Row for the later evening; and in July, Sunfest's Saturday in Victoria Park with the blocks around it closed, Home County at Harris Park, Rock the Park's headliners - the chauffeur drops at the closure's edge, agrees a corner, and the return is moved by text. The events page lists which festival closes which streets, and the concerts, sports and events page prices the evening.
Sunday: brunch, the campus and the day trip
Brunch in Wortley Village; Western's campus and the Arboretum for a walk; the Thames Valley Parkway from Gibbons Park; and, for the afternoon, Stratford's matinee at $130-160 each way, Port Stanley's beach at $85-110, or Grand Bend at $165-205 - each on the destination's page with the chauffeur waiting by the hour or returning on a text.
The seasonal weekends
The Knights' playoff weekends in April; convocation's June Saturdays with the campus closed to parking; Sunfest's July weekend; the Western Fair's two September weekends; Homecoming's October Saturday; Halloween on the Row; the Santa Claus parade in November; the Christmas lights and Kellogg Lane's December; New Year's Eve. The events page has the year and the Tourism London calendar the dates.
The street closures, and the chauffeur's plan
Sunfest closes the blocks around Victoria Park; Home County and Rock the Park close Ridout and the forks' streets; the Pride and Santa Claus parades close Queens and Richmond; the Western Fair fills Dundas East; Halloween and New Year's fill the Row. The chauffeur reads the City's closure notices on Friday, drops at the closure's edge, and agrees the pickup corner before the passenger gets out.
The visitor's weekend, and the local's
A visitor's weekend starts at Pearson or YXU on Friday and ends there on Sunday with a hotel between, on one file with the travel desk; a local's weekend is a household account and three fixed rates - the Knights on Friday, the market on Saturday, brunch on Sunday - booked in a minute each. The black car service page has the account.
Three weekends, as they went
A July weekend, a couple from Toronto. Met at YXU on Friday; the Grand at 8; Sunfest's Saturday by the hour with the closures known and the corner agreed; brunch in the Village and a Port Stanley afternoon on Sunday; YXU at 6.
A Knights playoff weekend, a Byron family. Two fixed rates on Friday and Sunday to the Dundas Street door and back from Talbot and King; the market on Saturday morning; the rink at the market after.
A Western Fair weekend, grandparents from Winnipeg. The DoubleTree; the fair's Dundas gate on Saturday by the hour; Kellogg Lane and the Old East Village's cafes; the campus on Sunday; Pearson at 3.
Booking it
A single weekend journey is a fixed rate on the reservation engine; a day by the hour or a visitor's weekend is one email to the desk, which reads the closures and plans the corners; the events page has what is on.
Three questions the desk is asked about the weekend
Can we decide on Saturday morning? A fixed-rate journey booked on Saturday morning for Saturday afternoon is usually available outside the peaks; a Friday evening's Knights run or a Sunfest Saturday should be booked by Thursday, because the fleet on those nights is spoken for. What if the festival is rained out? A cancellation more than 72 hours out is free and inside it is charged on the terms' scale; a change of plan to Kellogg Lane's indoor Factory is a change of address the engine prices. Does the chauffeur know what is on? The desk reads the calendar every Friday and the chauffeurs live here; ask.
Friday night, in more detail
The Knights' doors open at 6 for a 7 o'clock game and the King Street entrance's queue is longest at 6:45; the Grand's curtain is 8 with the loading zone on Richmond Street busiest at 7:45; London Music Hall's doors are 7 or 8 with the queue along Queens Avenue; Richmond Row's restaurants take a 6 p.m. table on a Friday only with a reservation the travel desk will make. The chauffeur drops at each door and the return corner is agreed at the drop.
Saturday, in more detail
The market's food hall is busiest between 11 and 1, and the outdoor market in summer opens at 8; the Western Fair District's market runs Saturday mornings year-round; Storybook Gardens opens at 10 and Boler's tubing lanes at 10 in winter; Kellogg Lane's Factory takes a booking online for a Saturday afternoon slot. An SUV by the hour from 9 to 6 touches five of them, and the hourly page has the arithmetic against fixed rates.
Sunday, in more detail
Wortley Village's brunch queues form by 10:30 and the chauffeur drops early; Western's campus is empty and photogenic on a Sunday morning; the Thames Valley Parkway from Gibbons Park is the walk; and the afternoon's day trip leaves at 1 - Stratford's 2 p.m. matinee needs a 12:45 departure, Port Stanley's beach a 1 p.m. one. The destinations hub has the figures.
The winter weekend
Boler Mountain's Friday night skiing, the market's rink on Saturday, Victoria Park's lights and Fanshawe Pioneer Village's Christmas weekends in December, the Knights, and the Grand's winter season: the winter article has the roads and the Christmas lights article the evening tour.
The summer weekend
Sunfest, Home County, Rock the Park and Pride in July, Ribfest on the August long weekend, Storybook's splash pad, the patios on the Row and the beaches an hour away; the Sunfest article has the festivals and the Grand Bend page the shore.
The group's weekend
Six friends in an SUV or fourteen in a Sprinter for a stag, a birthday or a reunion: the brewery crawl on Saturday afternoon, the Row on Saturday night, the casino or the Knights, and brunch on Sunday; the party bus page has the group vehicles and Ontario's rules.
The City's weekend, and the LTC
The City publishes the weekend's closures and the LTC's route changes for the festivals and the fair, and the chauffeur reads both on Friday; a passenger who would rather take the bus to Sunfest and the car home at midnight books just the return, which the desk is happy to do.
Booking checklist for the weekend
The hotel or the address; Friday's event and its door; Saturday's stops in order; Sunday's brunch and the day trip; the passengers and any car seat; the vehicle class; fixed rates or the day by the hour; the account or the card; and a phone number for the corner texts. The desk plans it and the reservation engine takes each journey.
A worked example: a Sunfest weekend for a Toronto couple
Friday: met at YXU at 6:40 p.m., the DoubleTree at 7:05, the Grand at 8. Saturday by the hour: the market at 10, Kellogg Lane at 1, Sunfest's Victoria Park at 4 with the drop at Wellington and Central and the corner agreed at Richmond and Central, the return moved twice by text. Sunday: brunch in Wortley Village, Port Stanley's beach at 1 with the chauffeur waiting, and YXU at 6:15 for the 7:45 flight. The couple's arithmetic against a rental car and three days of parking came out close; the difference was the festival night, and the events page has the next one.
